Vision Needs in the Modern Digital Era
In the past you would use your far distance (over 5m) for driving and things such as projector screens. Your digital distance (40cm-3m) for watching TV and your near distance (30-40cm) for writing and reading. In the modern digital era, we have dramatically increased the use of the digital distance. We now use this intermediate range of vision for our computers and car navigation systems as well as the increased use of our mobile phone in the near digital distance.
The Nikon DigiLife lens is a multifocal design that has been specially designed for our growing digital lifestyles. A wider intermediate progressive lens, it allows you to enjoy your computer and mobile devices by providing smooth and quick visual access into the intermediate focal range area. The DigiLife lens is part of the Nikon e-LIFE series which we have talked about in previous posts.
Mobile devices: Easy access to small texts
Seamless far to near vision all day long: No need to switch eyeglasses for driving
Better vision at a computer: The lens provides a natural viewing angle for near distance work
Easy adaptation: No distortion related dizziness
