A long weekend is almost upon us here on the Gold Coast! All of our practices will be closed on Monday, and it got us thinking of what events on the Gold Coast there are this weekend we might want to go to.  There are so many exciting events on with the Gold Coast Pet & Animal Expo one of two we wanted to share. Did you know it’s the largest animal expo in Australia? You can bring your pets too.

Admission: Free!

Date: Saturday 4 October, 9am to 4pm  |  Sunday 5 October, 9am to 3pm

Location: Central Park Oval and Varsity Lakes Sports and Arts Centre, Central Park, Varsity Lakes

Furry Fashions on the Field: For the Best Dressed Pet and Owner in Race Wear Attire. Main Stage 1:30pm Sunday (arrive 15mins early if you want to enter). Maybe we’ll see some dogs wearing glasses!

Another event on this weekend is the Beach Bash Obstacle Challenge.  It’s the sandiest obstacle challenge in Australia, all the while promoting health, fitness and fun. Our very own Katrina from our Treetops practice is participating and has been training hard for the event.  Good luck Kat and everyone involved!

Date: Saturday 4th to Sunday 5th October

Location: Roughton Park, Corner Musgrave & Winston Streets, North Kirra
