How often should I get my eyes tested?

If everything seems normal and healthy you should have your eyes tested every two years. Often changes can be quite subtle, and particularly in the case of common eye diseases like glaucoma and macular degeneration, they can be present for years before symptoms become significant. The best prevention then is detection through routine eye exams.
