A Change at Treetops

The New Year often brings great change and this is certainly the case for us here at Envision Optical with recent news that Katrina will be leaving our team at the end of January. While the news was a bit of a shock and was certainly not what I was hoping to hear, I was happy that she has found a new career challenge and will be working in pre and post operative care with eye surgeons to further her skills and knowledge in the eye care field.

Katrina started at Treetops with me in the second half of 2003. She quickly established herself as a favourite of patients with her cheerful, friendly nature, and her willingness to always go the extra mile to solve their visual problems. Katrina has always treated patients with the outstanding service and care you would give to your friends and family, and as a result she has made many great friendships with her patients. On a normal day at Treetops there are always multiple people dropping in for a hello and a chat, or giving a friendly wave as they pass by the practice. All of these people will miss her smile and her exceptional service, and I know Celia and I face months and years of answering the questions, “Where’s Katrina?”.

On a personal note, I feel very lucky to have had Katrina recommended to me back in 2003. She has been an outstanding team member who exemplifies everything we strive to achieve in our daily service to our patients here at Envision Optical. Putting the patients first, memorable service with a smile, going the extra mile. These traits are the key to a successful business and Katrina has played a key role in the growth of our Treetops practice over the last 11 years. She will be leaving us with all our very best wishes and our gratitude for all those little things she has done to make the day run smoothly with just a little bit of fun as well. Katrina’s last day will be Friday January 23, so please drop in to say good bye and thanks if you get the chance over the next three weeks.
