It’s Great to Have You in the Team

This January, we welcomed Glen McCallum to the Envision Optical team as an Optical Assistant. Glen has moved back to the Gold Coast after 14 years living in Adelaide. His background is in hotel management, as Gaming Manager and Coordinator, for a group of hotels for the time he was in Adelaide. This experience enabled him to develop his naturally outstanding customer service skills.  Glen has completed his Diploma of Management Train the Trainer in Customer Service so is well equipped to the transition to working as an Optical Assistant and looking after our patients needs. He also lists his awards as Father of the Year for several years running!

Glen has settled in really well to the Envision Optical team and is loving that we have such a big focus on looking after our patients, which he describes as ‘second to none’. He loves our exuberant staff who are professional, yet very personal and friendly with our patients. He particularly loves how we go the extra mile.

Outside of work, Glen is a dedicated and loyal Kylie Minogue fan, having been lucky enough to meet her a few times. He likes to spend his time with family and closely monitors social media! I’m sure you’ll be seeing more of Glen on our social media going forward too. Glen has a positive energy which I am sure you will all be introduced to when you meet him. He loves enjoying life to the fullest and lives by the motto, “Always look on the bright side of life”.

Welcome to the Envision Optical team Glen!
